Raising the margins before the options expiry date created the desired effect of reducing the price quickly and then experiencing a fast recovery.

Many investors believe that this type of behavior is criminal to say the least. Investors have been robbed in broad daylight. Investing is a merciless game as the market is not on your side; it is there to take your money. It means that investors need to be aware of the games so that they can be armed against such market manipulation.

In a week that was known for its volatility, gold fell by 1.32 percent. Gold is believed to be under-leveraged when compared to other future trades. It is deemed to leveraged three times less than treasuries. All of this is rather meaningless as there is increasing demand for this precious yellow metal. Such measures to cause the gold price to collapse are going to be ineffective. The only people to suffer will be option buyers.
